How could is the Panasonic PV-GS80 Palmcorder Mini-DV ?

How good is it for indoor filming?I will do more inside than outside filming.What are some other options for a good indoor camcorder.I really dont want to pay a lot but I've been told cheaper are worse soI guess Im willing to spend up to 300.I dont care about its look/compact ect.Just has to begood for indoor use.and good still pictures would be nice too.
