Default panasonic lumix dmc-tz5 or canon powershot sx110 is?

i want a camera that has a good zoom, image stabilization, and can produce a better picture in almost all of the situations (low light etc). i'm just a beginner and i want to produce a vivid picture and i'l be using macro mode too. my budget is only $250. and i end up with these choices. panasonic and canon. some of the reviews say that dmx-tz5 is better than sx110, but i trust canon more than panasonic. anyone can help me with this problem?

Default buy the canon

Both are pretty good digital cameras. I've got the canon and while I don't pretend to be an expert by any means I am really impressed with it!
Just be careful when buying as the prices change considerably from retailer to retailer, I've seen this digital camera at several prices ranging from 208$ up to 275$. Have a look at a price comparators on a [url=http://www.vozavi.co.uk/digital-camera_c1_1_1.html
]digital review[/url] site before deciding where to buy.
