need help with putting new hard drive in my laptop?

my hard drive in my laptop broke so i am going to get a new one. cant get any data of the old hard drive, so when i get the new one i will have to install a new version of vista. but my question is waht about the drivers and software?if i download everything from [url]http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?os=2093&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&lang=en&pr oduct=3752693[/url] and install it to the new HD, will my laptop be just like it was before when i first bought it?

your laptop didnt come with a driver disk?then you should find teh drivers package for your specific model on the hp website, im assuming you did that.then yes in theory it should be just like when you bought it.
