Storing Games on external Hard Drives?1 question about Spore pc?

First things first,is it possible to store games on an external hard drive?If it is, I want to store Need For Speed Under Ground 2(PC) on a Western Digital 250 gig external hard drive.I want to store it to save my progress, because I just got Spore and I have little memory so I want to have one game at a time intalled.Also, I have installed Spore on another computer, and there is something that looks like a glitch, I am in the creature stage, about halfway through the meter, and if i play for too long, the game freezes and i am ''kicked'' out of the game, so i lose my progress.Please Help!!!
