Ugh! I have no happy news for you. First, try rebooting with the drive turned on and see if it is recognized. The only good news I can give you is that it may be recognized by a computer running Linux. However, Windows will not recognize it if a reboot doesn't work. You can get drive recovery software, scan the drive, and copy the contents onto your hard drive (or onto another external).Whatever you do, do NOT click on 'YES' when Windows asks if you want to format the drive- everything will be erased and recovery will be very difficult, if possible at all.
