Dell Inspiron: Q6600 Quad 2.4 v AMD 5600 dual 2.8?

Theres two computers on dell outlet:Inspiron Desktop 531 Mini-tower: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core 5600+ (2.80GHZ)and the Inspiron Desktop 531 Mini-tower: Intel Core 2 Q6600both 500 GB hard drive and 3 gigs of ram.I assume the quad core is better and by how much? i dnt know much about computers lol.the quad core is 30 dollars more btw nothing big lol

Personally I would go with Quad because it is by intel. AMD is however getting very popular too but still you can't beat the Quad. For 30 bucks you can't go wrong with the Quad b/c of better performance
