The whole state, or just a part of it? Okay, the latitude and longitude of any given place would depend on the map you happen to be looking at, at the time. Therefore, the map I happen to be looking at is an NBC News-Rand McNally News of the World Atlas, so now that you know that, here's the latitude and longitude of Texas within that particular map, 31.30 N 99.00 W, finding those latitudes and longitudes on this map would place you within the middle of Texas. Texas is one of the biggest states in the United States, and would normally take up several spaces within any given map. And henceforth, would normally take up many latitudes and longitudes within any given space on any map, even this one. But that's where you would find Texas, within that particular map (It would place you in the middle of the state). The coordinates of the state are 31N 100W, even within Wikipedia, therefore, that leads me to believe this particular map.

NBC News-Rand McNally, World New
