Default Dell XPS 200 computer.. fan is loud?

Ever since I bought my Dell XPS 200 desktop about 2 years ago, the fan has been really loud sounding. It gets very annoying, I can't even leave my computer on over night! My computer works perfectly.. Why does it do this?

It does this as the Processor is obviously getting too hot.Might I suggest taking tit to a local computer shop, and asking them if they have any high-speed, ultra-quiet fans for you?

Some of the cheaper fans installed by manufacturers start to fail over time, you can get a decent fan at Circuit City or one of those places and install it in place of the noisy fan. Try to get one with ball bearings to make it last longer and be more quiet. If the fan is in the power supply, you can either replace it or get a new power supply, depending on how how mechanically/electronically handy you are.
