hi! need help. I have a Dell inspiron 6000, a few years old. My battery is...

...not charging? The power cord seems to be getting power from the wall... but power does not seem to be getting from the cord to the computer...does anyone have any idea what could be wrong with it??any help is greatly appreciated!!oh

the reason it seems the power cord is getting power from the wall is that the little green light on the actual adapter is lit up
