NO SOUND or VGA on my dell Latitude 400?

Hi, i have a dell latitude 400. It was working fine and i don't know what got into me, i decided to reinstall the OS, just to reorganise myself. unfortunately after installing, there is no more sound . i did a check on my computer and it says that there is no sound card installed and in another spot it shows audio controller has an ! in yellow. I can't no longer change the Screen resolution either.what happened? what do i do, i am not spending another dime on it

Sounds like you need to reinstall the drivers. Go to the Dell website and choose your model, and download and install all the drivers for it.
