How to change resolution on Dell Latitude D610 to 1400 by 1050?

I have a Dell Latitude D610 with latest drivers from intel (915gm) but the max resolution supported is 1024 by 768. A coworker has the same model, but with higher resolution. We compared driver version, settings, and more but couldn't find any difference. Any idea on how to do this change?
