Need help overclocking my cpu to 3.00 ghz?

i want to overclock my cpu to 3.00 ghz its set at the regular 2.66 ghz i have the quad core 6700...and an asus P5N-E sli board and has no bios to over clock cpu so how do i go about doing this without burning my chip...i only want to get to 3.00 2.900 ghz thats it please help ohhh i have a big typhoon heatsink/ fan attached to my cpu with thermal grease
