Default my keychain has lost the plot..... Mac OS X Leopard. 2nd account only. The

administrator is fine. WTF??? I know there are a million threads about this. But they are all particular cases. The main problems occur in mail, no matter what i do mail.app wont remember any of 3 accounts passwords. It also asks me for login_renamed_01 wants to use keychain. It's all gone to ****.Please bail me out, as i really don't like cursing os X .THIS IS A Mac SPECIFIC QUESTION !!please, only people who know Mac respond..... thanks.IM apps are not happy either. MSN and AIM prompt for passwords, Skype seems to be just peachy.... ????Oh, and don't tell me to click the box that says remember password......please.thank you worked very well. keychain is still called login_renamed_1 is this normal. Should I change it.

It sounds as though your keychain and account passwords are out of sync. This can happen if you reset your account password from anywhere other than the "Accounts" preference pane. To fix this:Launch the Keychain Access application, located in the Utilities folder.Click on the "Keychain Access" drop-down menu and select "Keychain First Aid"Enter your password and click the Repair button. Try your current password first, and if that doesn't work try inputting past passwords.FAILING THAT, the name of your current keychain (login_renamed_01) sounds as though it's been tampered with. You can start anew by throwing out all of your old saved passwords and creating a brand new keychain. In Keychain Access, control-click on a keychain in the box on the left side of the window. Select "Delete Keychain [name]", and repeat for any other keychains you have. Finally, run Keychain First Aid, enter your current account password and click repair. This will generate a brand new account keychain that will remain synced to your account password until you manage to screw it up again.Good luck!
