a restore disk. How do I create I know I can restore by ctrl/f10 controls. I am concerned about hard drive falure.

go back to where you bought it at or go to a computer store

you cant make a restore disk on a computer only macs have that and just back up ur files and if it happens get it fixed, a new one, or just a new computer its ez to get the files onto a differnt hard drive and if u had a restore disk how will it help you if the hard drive fales when you cant fix a hardware problum with a disk.

I will usually use a hard disk cloning program to do this. Set everything up on your system as you would like it to be restored, and then proceed with the image creation. Norton Ghost is a purchasable option, which is what I use, but there are many free programs that work similarly. You can find them by searching for hard disk cloning software at sourceforge.net, or google "open source disk cloning software".
